Introduction – Editorial Staff of “ATUNIS”
***
We have seen the flowers begin to bloom. It is not about the time to thrive, they keep growing, looks like the strong man that can face everything, even the chills of winter. It is about the colours. Although they may be self sacrificing, they tell us the spring is near.
The same happens with the poets. The poets can create a new world, regenerate the world by twisting the mysticizm.
It doesen't matter the time or the years. It is a dream or a wish about tomorrow.
Language of art is constantly changing, evaluating while poetry it is becoming really eloquent, to be touched and felt deep in the hearts and souls.
Agron Shele, writer, poet
Forces of nature are always stronger
Everyone sometimes wonders: again another poem. After all, there are already so many poems in collections of poetry, anthologies, magazines (digital, paper print), websites, on the Internet. Yet it turns out time and again that this smallest flower of all flowers is very steadfast and resistant. Almost indestructible. It hibernates in all seasons, whether it rains, the sun shines, twenty degrees below freezing, heat waves, tidal waves, hurricanes, tornadoes: the flower of poetry survives.
That in itself is a good sign. Also the fact that there are always poets, young and old, who pick up the pen and find it important enough to write a poem. On any subject. There are also always readers, listeners – albeit a heavy minority – who appreciate reading a poem: it takes you to a different world, to different thoughts, you taste the particularity of the words, their form and meanings, it provokes thought and insight, reflections, at a special moment, when something is filled in, a void, lack, a landmark, direction indicator, a performance. A different way of thinking and feeling.
Yet we will experience different times as everything fluctuates, each trying again and again to express underlying, often hidden feelings that come to the surface. With that surface we may be able to arrive at new insights, the depth is the depth and almost always the same, unfathomable, dark, deep. The surface is the reflection, the form, the content, the perceivable and demonstrable. You think you can write in complete freedom, but that's partly true. Everything has been said, thought, written before and the poet knows this too and gives it therefore a personal and individual interpretation, within his ability to shape language and mold it into expression.
Almost everything is artificial. Technology and knowledge (science) have taken over the task of the enigmatic, the magic of existence, the magic of tradition. In a way that is a pity, because there is less room for irrational interpretation and imagination. Still, there's plenty left. No cloud floating in the sky is exactly the same, even though we can predict exactly when rain is expected and in extreme drought we even can make a cloud rain by sending a drone at it. Nature is always stronger than the power of man to direct it, stronger than the power of a poet to make his words shimmer. That little stubborn flower remains motionless in the midst of all the violence and endless bustle that moves people into one direction or the other.

Literature allows a person to step back in time and learn about life on Earth from the ones who walked before us. We can gather a better understanding of culture and have a greater appreciation of them. We learn through the ways history is recorded, in the forms of manuscripts and through speech itself.
Literature allows a person to step back in time and learn about life on Earth from the ones who walked before us. We can gather a better understanding of culture and have a greater appreciation of them. We learn through the ways history is recorded, in the forms of manuscripts and through speech itself.
Literature has had a major impact on the development of society. It has shaped civilisations, changed political systems and exposed injustice. Literature gives us a detailed preview of human experiences, allowing us to connect on basic levels of desire and emotion.
Contemporary literature
Contemporary literature is a vast group of written works produced from a specific time in history through the current age. This literary era defines a time period, but it also describes a particular style and quality of writing.
Literature or to be more specific, Contemporary Literature helps the readers to develop their rational thinking.
Literature in the present times
Literature help us improve our empathy, it also makes us gain valuable insights, especially stories with deep meaning that resonates with the world today. It ensures that those insights we gain, help us better understand the world we live in.
Literature influences us and makes us understand the every walk of life. Narratives, in particular, inspire empathy and give people a new perspective on their lives and the lives of others.
In the present times where war and conflicts between the nations are so much prevalent, Literature helps us to gain knowledge and comprehend between the evil and the good, the positive and negative factors of the current affairs.
Conclusion
As it’s rightly said, “ A pen is mightier than a sword “, so is Literature a powerful medium to bring change in society. Atunis a very strong platform, under the able guidance of Agron Shele, my dear brother and friend, plays a great role in spreading literature, especially poetry and its creators across the globe. The team at Atunis always aims to promote literature and culture, give a broader exposure to the writers and artists and in the past years have successfully done so. The yearly anthology of the same is a major example where all the writers from different nations have jointly collaborated and thus produced this wonderful book of poems, articles and etc .

Girolamo Comi, an Italian poet of the last century, said that through poetry the certainty of communion with the absolute is achieved. The more one has faith in the magical function of the word, the better the drama given, proposed and congenital to man is resolved.
Poetry, for him, is the awareness of the divine within us. In my opinion, poetry is an introspection tool, a chisel that pulls away the superfluous, a torch that illuminates the darkness because it helps us to reconcile with slowness in a world that goes at high speed and becomes maieutics, in the sense that Socrates attributed it . Poetry is a mirror of the soul, but it is also the mirror of the society that produces it or ignores it or even worse that boycotts it. In poetry the encounter with beauty and the encounter with the other takes place, making poetry is an exercise to learn to listen to the other and at the same time making poetry is knowledge because it leads us to reach those who suffer, to develop empathy and sharing.
The poet of the world, today, with rare exceptions, does not submit to editorial marketing logic, perhaps because the publishing giants are too expensive. The poets in this anthology are endowed with a utopian and revolutionary force, they use magical thinking to adapt to everyday reality, weave the testimony of past generations into it and implement a mapping of the social, economic, and environmental instability in which they live. There are voices that still tremble with extreme lyricism induced by the beauty of the places or by the experience of love, but the urgency is to resist, therefore the aesthetics are joined by logic, civil commitment, and critical thinking. Drawing on creativity to intentionally connote the message is the prerogative of all poets in the world, but the binomial utopia-freedom perhaps resonates more frequently in the southern latitudes.
