Spento Natale

Off Christmas
Nothing is as before, perhaps the wind is stronger, Storm defies the fear of a time without peace! And yet, swirling, it rises dance of ice crystals, Whirling, the snow covers every ugliness. The lights go on, the metamorphosis of a dull Christmas, Strange as the shop windows and the sentinel dragons Of a square with masked ghosts, now that too Silence, aphonous, appears at the tip of a seismic swarm For the cynical ballet of a thousand light bulbs. The Silence, which always had an echo for me, resounds now in the silenced cosmos, It is silent and collapses on the tip of the syringe. "To be or not to be" is the dilemma of many, Confined to the fringes of mental twists Of a few or many prisoners of their Ego. If we are guinea pigs, let the dead speak, "Resurga" the reason for this crazy obsession. The games are upset, even chimeras run after each other! "No sleep!" among the figures of monsters, Real or imaginary, let's join the ranks To pretend to enjoy this absurd Christmas. By Franca Colozzo
