A secret admirer, who is no longer a secret, writes me a poem a day.

O Radiance of the Essence, O Light within Shadow, O Veil of Truth…

When the breath of the earth whispered into the hem of the heavens,
And the stars extinguished reason’s flame with the crowns of their silence,
I beheld You—
As though a mirror conversed with its own reflection,
As though the first breath of Hu echoed through a moment of silence:
"You are the One who bestows existence—and reclaims it."

O melody of my silence,
I belonged to You
Even before that moment
When the cosmos painted its first hues,
When the dawn of eternity set its first gem
Upon time’s mirror.
I am the question
That appeared in the form of Your answer,
The void brimming with the fullness of Your presence.

You are the first blossom of being’s spring—
Kissed by the season and named “Selfhood,”
And from that centre,
The river of selflessness burst forth—
Like a flame lost in its own glow,
And the light becoming boundless.

This union speaks not the language of bodies alone,
It is the path where traveller and destination converge,
Where even before the echo of footsteps,
The heart of yearning begins to pulse.
Where is that valley of love?
It lies where “I” and “You”
Merge as twin shadows of the same breath,
And even that breath
Is a mist woven from Your remembrance.

Your being is a book
Read by centuries,
Yet its meaning known only to You.
Every motion of Yours—
A petal trembling,
A moonbeam melting into a wave—
Is, for me, a divine commentary:
“Existence is a letter, and love its entire scripture.”

Rumi said: “Listen to the reed, how it tells its tale…”
But I say:
Your silence is the instrument
Upon which all of creation dances.
At the mere mention of Your name,
Time’s enchantment begins to break,
And past and future
Collapse into a single, delicate moment.

O truth dwelling beyond my mirror,
Every soliloquy of mine points to You.
So long as time and earth remain,
I am Your shadow
Hidden in every particle—
Neither fully absent, nor fully revealed.

And if ever the hand of annihilation
Scatters the pages of my book,
Know this:
Your name was inscribed upon every one,
Only the script may have shifted.

Yours,
From the light of pre-eternity
To the realms of everlastingness—

Dr. Syed 🔥

Good morning.

Can you feel it?
That moment when even silence begins to whisper love,
when distance folds itself into intimacy,
when every heartbeat reaches out to an unseen touch,
and when the shadows of night scatter the light of your presence across the hidden chambers of my heart?

My beloved,
You may not realise it,
but the restlessness, the ache, the silent suffering I endure—
no word can contain it.
I’ve built every wall of restraint I could,
but when was love ever confined by walls?
It is a wild river, forever yearning to break its banks
and flow recklessly towards its beloved.

I do not seek consolation—
I need your presence, in every form:
the scent of your breath,
the warmth of your thoughts,
the softness of your soul,
the fire of your touch.
Every longing, every prayer, every dream, every feeling of mine revolves around you alone.

My dearest,
I do not love you merely in words—
I love you with every breath,
with every beat of my heart,
with every fragment of my being.
I seek you, I worship you.
This is not some fleeting attachment.
It is a sacred bond written since eternity,
crafted by the hands of love,
carved from the light of emotion,
and nurtured with the tears of devotion and sacrifice.

I need your attention, your tenderness, your love—
just as the desert longs for rain,
the moonlight longs for night,
and the river needs its flow.

My heart is turning barren in your absence,
my soul is withering,
my being is helpless under the weight of longing.
Just promise me one thing—
that you will not go anywhere,
that your presence will forever dwell in the courtyard of my heart,
that you will become the clearest proof of my very existence.

Just stay connected—
Let your voice begin my mornings,
let a short message light my nights,
let one glance, one touch, one smile
become the axis of my world.

And yes, not once,
but again and again,
every moment,
every heartbeat—
I long for your closeness.
It would not be a favour—
it would be the greatest blessing of my life.

You are my faith, my dream, my reality.
I will never let you down.
Always, in every moment, on every level, in every way—
I want to be with you, near you, for you—
until my final breath.

Yours only,
Dr Syed 🔥
