O time,
You don’t walk, you run,
Taking us through
An endless conspiracy
Between night and sun
Yet, a few hours
Before each of your
Years’ noisy space
Bring us to see how
You hide Eternity’s face
As I portrayed you
Years ago in this painting,
You’re a bottomless well
Built of countless circles
Of reigns that rose and fell
Yet, I’ve been all life
Trying to sail off
Your tireless flow
Seeking the timeless
distrusting the nature’s law
Drawing the unseen
Longing for Life Everlasting
So, I’ve been dead living
In the Realm of In Between.

O tempo,

Tu non cammini, tu corri,
Trascinandoci attraverso
Una lotta senza fine
Tra notte e giorno.
Eppure, solo poche ore
Prima che ciascuno dei tuoi
Anni rumorosi
Ci conduca a vedere come
Tu nascondi il volto dell'Eternità.
Come ti ho ritratto
Anni fa in questo dipinto,
Tu sei un pozzo senza fondo
Costruito da innumerevoli cerchi
Di regni che sono sorti e caduti.

Eppure, ho passato tutta la vita
Cercando di navigare via
Dal tuo flusso instancabile
Alla ricerca dell'eterno
Diffidando delle leggi della natura
Disegnando l'invisibile
Desiderando la vita eterna
Così, ho vissuto da morto
Nel regno dell'In-Tra-Mentre.

This poem of yours, dear Professor George Onsy, combines music and painting in a triad that opens with the image of the "bottomless well / Built from countless circles / Of kingdoms that rose and fell."
The notion of time transcends linearity to become a circular echo between historical rise and fall; in short, the philosophical idea of ​​eternal return is affirmed. Your reference to your painting, created decades earlier, reinforces this vision, merging visual art and poetry into a unicum where symbolism is the enduring language. Time, here, is not only experienced, but archived, layered, and revisited.
A central emotional thread is the narrator's perennial resistance to the authority of Time. The desire to "sail / Your tireless flow" and seek "the eternal / distrustful law of nature" reflects a profound human desire to transcend mortality. This struggle gives rise to the poem's most striking paradox: "dead living / In the Realm of the In-Between." This realm suggests a liminal existence, suspended between life and eternity, presence and absence, where the artist resides, endlessly creating and questioning.

Una poesia questa tua, Prof. George Onsy che coniuga musica e dipinto in una triade che s'apre con l'immagine del "pozzo senza fondo / Costruito da innumerevoli cerchi / Di regni che sorsero e tramontarono".
La nozione del tempo travalica la linearitàper diventare circolare eco tra ascesa e declino storici, in sintesi si afferma l'idea filosofica dell'eterno ritorno. Il tuo riferimento al tuo dipinto creato decenni prima rafforza questa visione, fondendo arte visiva e poesia in un unicum dove il simbolismo è il linguaggio permanente. Il tempo, qui, non è solo vissuto, ma archiviato, stratificato e rivisitato.
Un filo conduttore emotivo centrale è la resistenza, perenne, del narratore all'autorità del Tempo. Il desiderio di "salpare / Il tuo flusso instancabile" e di cercare "l'eterno / diffidente legge della natura" riflette un profondo desiderio umano di trascendere la mortalità. Questa lotta dà origine al paradosso più sorprendente della poesia: "morti che vivono / Nel Regno dell'Intermedio".
