TRA TEMPO E SILENZIO
Ci son attimi
in cui il tempo si ferma,
immobile accanto a noi,
com’un vecchio amico,
che sa molte cose,
eppur muto s’adagia.
In quegli attimi,
il mondo divien più lieve del respiro,
e i pensieri vagano lontano,
com’uccelli che non cercano il cielo,
ma il significato.
Resto tra loro,
tra ciò ch’ero una volta,
e ciò che divenuta non son ancora,
com’un ponte invisibile,
su d’un fiume denominato vita.
E lentamente capisco:
un essere umano non è sol ciò che vive,
ma anche ciò che cerca
nella propria intimità.
Perché la luce,
non sempre nasce dal sole;
a volte,
nasce da una domanda
che non smettiamo mai di porci.

Between Time and Silence
There are moments when time does not move —
it simply sits beside us like an old friend
who knows many things,
yet chooses not to speak.
In those moments the world becomes lighter than breath,
and thoughts travel far away like birds that do not seek the sky,
but meaning.
I remain among them,
between what I once was
and what I have not yet become,
like an invisible bridge over a river called life.
And slowly I understand:
a human being is not only what they live —
but also what they search
for within their own darkness.
Because light is not always born from the sun;
sometimes it is born from a question
we never stop asking.
