I simply want to wish everyone, and especially artists, a happy 2026.
It’s truly a great pleasure for us to close out this 2025, knowing that Empathism is now the only structured and authentic movement of the New Millennium, both in Italy and internationally.
350 artists and cultural figures are now officially members as Empathic Masters, but the moral support is, I hope so, several million worldwide, and I’m sure it will continue to grow in 2026.
I’m pleased to note that really more and more people are now thinking empathetically, and the gaze of those who have arrogantly imposed the pseudo-underground movement of Narcissism for years is increasingly debased, starting from Milan, indicated by us as the center of modern European paralysis…
A New Era has dawned with the New Millennium, and the turning point was 2020 with that absurd Pandemic and the resulting Lockdowns that brought us to the lowest point of the modern Age.
Today, however, we are confident; we are reforming not only the soul but also the way to make Art, starting with Poetry, which has always been my guiding star. Empathism evolves from “Total Art” to “Total Empathy”, and the first conference in Florence – at the historic “Giubbe Rosse” Literary Café – is ready. Sponsored by the Municipality of Florence and the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence, the event will feature major artists and will also host the eleventh edition of the Cilento International Poetry Prize.
I conclude by wishing you all a happy 2026 and a prosperous 21st century, built together in the name of the values of Empathism for a truly better world and Art.
All the best to everyone with all my heart.
Your sincerely,
Menotti
